About

I am a multimedia journalist, editor, photographer, editor and soon-to-be podcaster covering the arts, health, food, culture and Asian America. A native New Yorker, I have contributed features and news to to national and regional publications, including The Week, Village Voice, Where Traveler, Kings County Politics, Center for Asian American Media, Bklyner, Home Reporter and Sunset News, The Philadelphia Inquirer, Weight Watchers Magazine, Parenting, NY City News Service, and New York Press.

When not taking photos, reporting or traveling, I write short stories, serve as a reading tutor to elementary students, tutor/cook for/entertain hospitalized children, and serve on the board of the New York chapter of the Asian American Journalists Association (AAJA), where I help coordinate programs, manage social media, and mentor local high school and college students.
